StockGenie is built with a privacy-first philosophy. We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share your name to use the application. Your stock watchlists and app preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
To manage premium subscriptions and ensure you have access to the features you've purchased, we use a service called RevenueCat. When you interact with our subscription features, RevenueCat may collect technical identifiers (such as your App Store anonymous ID) and transaction history. This data is used strictly for diagnostic purposes, such as verifying your purchase status, processing restores, and troubleshooting subscription issues. We do not use this data to track your identity outside of the app.
Our AI analysis relies on market data from providers like Polygon.io and Finnhub. These services receive requests for stock data but do not receive any information about you or your specific usage of the app. We do not share any user-specific data with these providers.
